The cabin arrives prefabricated and includes framing, external cladding, internal lining, flooring, windows and doors. Rob and the team complete the full site setup and install, including footings, plumbing and electrical, based on your site requirements.

Can I customise the cabin layout or design?

Yes! Scandi Cabins offer flexible internal layouts and upgrades, and we’ll work with you to ensure the design fits your land and lifestyle perfectly.

Do I need council approval to build a granny flat?

Most properties in the Northern Rivers require approval for secondary dwellings. We’ll help you navigate the process and liaise with private certifiers or council where needed.

How long does it take from order to move-in?

Generally, you can expect a build timeline of 3–4 months, depending on cabin design, site conditions and approvals.
